Crystal deposits in Donghai
About 23 billion years ago, Donghai was a vast expanse of sea .The continuous movement of the earth's crust, changes, and later through many geological processes, provides rich metamorphic hot water solution . At that time, the crustal movement was very intense and frequent. The continuous crustal movement formed the well-known tanlu fault zone on the west side of Donghai County, and the haisi fault and a large number of joints and small faults around it formed on the east side . An undersea volcano erupts, spewing silica - containing magma to the surface . Due to unique geographical conditions, one part of them cooled and formed large granite bodies, while the other part of ore-bearing solutions migrated along these channels, and part of them crystallized and precipitated in the suitable metallogenic environment, thus forming the crystal ore in Donghai today.
